What is the range the Dog Silencer Pro covers?
Your Dog Silencer Pro detects barking up to 75 feet away. Will the Dog Silencer Pro bother other animals?
Other pets such as cats and dogs may also hear the ultrasonic or sonic sounds emitted by the Dog Silencer Pro. As long as you keep these pets out of the same area as the Dog Silencer Pro, and point the Dog Silencer Pro away from those pets, they should not be affected as much.

Will the Dog Silencer Pro ultrasonic and sonic sound travel through solid objects?
You will want to place your Dog Silencer Pro in the same area as the barking dog without any barriers such as walls, fences, windows, trees or bushes between the device and the dog. Since the Dog Silencer Pro is not designed to travel through solid barriers, you can easily use the built-in brackets on the back of the Dog Silencer Pro to hang it above fences or walls. You can also use the built-in feet on the Dog Silencer Pro to stand it on any type of surface.

What are the Hi and Low settings?
This is not a volume setting. The high and low switch changes the sensitivity of the sound sensor to high (if the dog is far away) or low (if the dog is close to the unit).

What is Ultrasonic and Sonic sound?
The Dog Silencer Pro generates two different sound frequencies you can switch between with the turn of a dial. Sonic (audible) sound can be heard by canines and humans. Ultrasonic (inaudible) sound is outside the hearing range of humans but is extremely high pitch and annoying to canines. The sounds are completely humane and painless to the dog. We recommend using ultrasonic sound unless the dog does not respond, then switching to sonic.

What is the remote control for?
Your remote – a luxury only Good Life provides – allows you to activate your Dog Silencer Pro manually. This way, you can customize the dog’s training. If the dog is outside the Dog Silencer Pros sound sensor range, you can manually turn on the Dog Silencer Pro anytime you want with the click of a button. You can also use the remote control for other training purposes such as activating the Dog Silencer Pro when your dog gets on furniture, in the trash, etc.

What type of sounds does the Dog Silencer Pro emit?
Unlike other bark control products which use a constant, stagnant sound frequency to stop dogs from barking, the Dog Silencer Pro uses revolutionary Sound Sweep Technology™ that emits a range of fluctuating sound pitches. Dogs grow accustomed to and eventually ignore a single sound pitch, which is why the Dog Silencer Pro emits a wide spectrum of different sonic and ultrasonic sound frequencies dogs cannot acclimate to.

Why would I use the sonic (audible) mode?
Through testing, we found larger dogs tend to react to lower tones while smaller dogs tend to react to higher frequencies.
